At DesignLab, we’ve developed a high-touch, full-service process that gives our clients a clear roadmap from day one. Whether you’re planning a whole home remodel, a custom kitchen, or a full interior buildout, we combine design, materials, and execution under one roof. Our Design-Build Process

Discovery Consultation

We start with a one-on-one conversation to learn about your project goals, style preferences, and functional needs. Whether you're dreaming of a custom closet, a kitchen overhaul, or a full interior renovation, this step is all about listening. We also review your timeline, investment level, and scope to ensure alignment from the start.

Design & Planning

Once we’ve defined your vision, our in-house design team begins creating tailored concepts. We develop floor plans, elevations, and material palettes while working closely with you on layout, function, and finishes. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a complete design package and transparent cost outline—no surprises, no guesswork.

Material Sourcing & Custom Fabrication

With design approved, we move into material selection and fabrication. Our vertically integrated team coordinates stonework, millwork, cabinetry, and specialty finishes through trusted partners in Italy, Turkey, and the U.S. This step ensures both quality control and schedule reliability, while giving you access to premium, custom-grade materials.

Project Coordination

We finalize timelines, logistics, and site preparation. For clients working with outside builders or architects, we coordinate directly with your team. For design-build projects, we manage all phases in-house. This stage sets the foundation for a smooth build by eliminating confusion and keeping everyone aligned.

Installation & Execution

Our expert installers bring your vision to life with precision and care. Whether it’s a full home transformation or a custom vanity install, we manage every detail, staying on schedule and communicating throughout. Our team handles everything from final walkthroughs to on-site quality checks to ensure the result meets our high standards and yours.

Completion & Ongoing Support

We don’t disappear after the final install. We’re here to answer questions, offer care recommendations, and help with future additions or upgrades. Many of our clients return for new projects, and we’re proud to serve as a trusted partner for years to come.

A very experienced team arrived at our house on Monday and completed the entire installation in less than one week. We were able to enjoy the media room that weekend. It is now such an amazingly delightful space we like to just sit in the room, relax and enjoy the visually pleasing and stunning environment.
